The Chateau Marble Wood Wine Cooler is a perfect choice for adding elegance to any occasion. The white marble is perfect for keeping white or rosé wines chilled, while the natural acacia wood base creates a beautiful contrast. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, marble has excellent cooling properties. If you have ever walked barefoot on a marble floor, you would have noticed how cool it feels compared to the rest of the flooring.

We’ve put together some ideas on how to make the most of the Chateau wine bottle chiller, even after your guests have left. But before we get into that, whether you plan to host a wine-tasting party with friends or just want to enjoy a quiet evening with your loved one, here are some guidelines on how to serve wine at the right temperature, along with some other helpful tips for serving wine.

What is the right temperature for serving wine?

Generally, when serving wine, it's best to chill white and sparkling wines, while red wine is best served at room temperature. Here are some general guidelines:

Full-bodied red wine: Serve at room temperature which for wine is between 59-64°F (15–18ºC). The wine bottle should be cool to the touch. When red wine is too cold it will lose its robust flavor. Note: Don’t put excessively cold red wine by a heat source to warm it up, it could change the wine’s composition. Instead, gently warm it by holding the bowl of the wine glass in your hands.

Rosé, white wine, and sweet wines: Serve this wine cold, like straight from the fridge cold. Temperatures should be around 47- 50°F or 8–10ºC.

Sparkling wine: Like plunging into ice-cold water, these wines are most enjoyable at cold temperatures, between 43 - 47°F (6–8ºC).

If you're a wine connoisseur and want to ensure that both you and your guests enjoy the full experience of the wine, it might be worth investing in a bottle thermometer. These convenient devices wrap around the bottle without the need to open it. They can record the precise temperature of the wine inside, making it easier for you to serve the wine at the optimal temperature.

Here's how to use your Chateau wine bottle cooler effectively:

  1. Start by wiping the inside of the marble wine cooler with a clean and damp cloth.
  2. Place the wine chiller in the refrigerator or freezer for about 15-20 minutes until it gets cold.
  3. Once it is cold enough, set your wine bottle into the cooler. The Chateau cooler can hold a 750ml standard wine bottle.
  4. Set it on the table and enjoy the evening. You can expect the marble cooler to keep the wine cold for 1-3 hours without the need for ice.
  5. When you're finished, rinse the wine cooler and dry it with a soft cloth.

Under-cabinet lights in the kitchen can highlight décor items and add a little pizzazz. But, many homeowners are choosing a more affordable option: a kitchen lamp. Designers say kitchen lamps continue to trend because they lend a cozier, less utilitarian feel to a space. Homeowners are opting for distinctive lamps that bring personality to the room.

To create a unique kitchen lamp, consider adding an LED puck light or some LED strip lighting to the Chateau. When choosing the lighting, avoid cool lighting and opt for warm, soft lighting instead. This will help make your kitchen feel more inviting. To make your kitchen lamp stand out, you can place it near or on a stack of books or on a matching marble tray. This will create a unique feature statement that is sure to impress.
